May 10th
to May 31st we went to Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands,
belonging to Spain.
Those who
have been there will ask, "three weeks to Lanzarote, isn't that a bit
long?" At first glance indeed, the island is basic, bare and boring. However, after
closer inspection (which we did in our three week stay), I can tell you they
forget to mention the island is beautiful, peaceful and consistently warm. It

After we finished Uni, like most aussies, a group of mates and I decided to do a trip around the world.My trip started in the Canary islands on the island of Lanzarote. The Canary islands are renowned for their good surf and beaches. I didnt really know anything else about the place. Did you know that the name of the islands has nothing to do with the Canary bird?
