Lanta Scenic Bungalow

I had originally been interested in another hotel on Khlong Dao Beach but when I stopped by that other hotel in search of a room I found that they were full. On my way to that hotel I passed by Lanta Scenic Bungalow and thought that it looked nice. So I went back and asked if they had any rooms and they did and for a slightly better price.

Lanta Scenic Bungalow is a mid priced bungalow style hotel. I got my bungalow for 1400 baht (single). The room had air conditioning, piping hot water, an ensuite style bathroom, cable television and a mini fridge. The hotel is located just off the beach, on a side street, just behind a row of beachfront hotels so the beach is not that far away at all.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The location was good, quite close to the beach and a 15 minute walk into the main part of Saladan Town. The rows of bungalows look cute from the outside and the grounds have nice landscaping. There is a restuarant at the hotel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I enjoyed my stay at Lanta Scenic Bungalow and would stay there again.
