Landal Het Roekenbosch Blitterswijck Reviews
Landal het Roekenbosch Apr 10, 2012
Every year we do an in-law get away. Usually my parents in law arrange this sort of thing but this time we, “the kids” gave it as a Christmas present. So the first weekend of March we left to go to the Northern part of Limburg. A small place called Blitterswijck.
We stayed ad a bungalow park called Landal Roeckenbosch. We had a cottage for 8 people. No smoking and no dogs allowed. The park doesn’t allow cars on there. So you can drive your car to the cottage, unload and then you have to park the car on the parking lot. You have a parking key so you can get in and out of the parking lot whenever you want.
We stayed at cottage 6. The cottage got fit up to 8 people but we stayed with 7. It had 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one with toilet downstairs there was a separate toilet. 2 bedrooms upstairs, 2 downstairs. One of the downstairs bedroom had a bunk bed. A kitchen and a living room.
We stayed in a bedroom upstaris. Beds were nice. First impression I got was that they might be to soft, but the weren't and the rooms were nice and spacious. And there was also a closet, so we could fit our clothes in there.
Bathroom upstairs had a sink, toilet and shower. The shower could fit 2 people. Downstairs bathroom had a sink and a bath. A small bath.
Living room and kitchen were cozy. Kitchen had a dishwasher, microwave, cooking area and a big fridge. Kitchen also had a lot of utensils so that was nice.
On the park there was a restaurant, we ate there once and it's was oke. Nothing fancy but good food.. Also a game area, with a variety of games to play. We played pool a couple of times. Also bowling was an option. Outside there was midget golf which we also used. There is also a small petting zoo with lot’s of goats and some chickens. Also an indoor swimming pool small but for kids it’s more than enough.
There is a small grocery store but it’s much cheaper to drive into the village and go to a normal grocery store. First of al it’s cheaper, and second of al there is more to choose from .
