Landal Heideheuvel Hotel Beekbergen

Landal Heideheuvel is situated in the forest a few kilometres south from Apeldoorn, near the villages Beekbergen and Loenen. The location is great, but it's a pity you hear the highway A50 as a background sound. It is not that loud, but when you are in the forest you just want to hear nothing but forest sounds. The facilities on the park are okay. There is a swimming pool, but it is very small. There is mini golf, bowling, tennis courts and there are playgrounds for the kids. There is also a snackbar and a restaurant. You can rent a bicycle at the reception.

The houses are not very expensive to rent, we took a last minute which was very cheap.
There is a lot to do in the area, for adults but also for kids. It's a great area for cycling, it is very near to National Park De Hoge Veluwe, Apenheul (monkey zoo), Burgers Zoo, Arnhem Open Air museum, Royal Palace het Loo and a lot more.

Between Apeldoorn and Dieren you can ride a steamtrain (in the weekends). On the park you will hear the train because the track is nearby. It's a great sound! (And it is recommended to go on that train! great experience).

The houses are very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
