North Rhine-Westphalia (German: Nordrhein-Westfalen, usually shortened to NRW) is the westernmost and largest (in population and economic output) Federal State of Germany.
It was formed and established by the British military administration after the second world war from culturally separate areas, Rhineland, Westphalia and Lippe. As a fact of that nearly 90% of the people (about 98% of the young people) can understand and speak english well. The capital city is Düsseldorf and the largest city is Cologne. The Center of the State is the sprawling Rhine-Ruhr urbanised region, which contains the cities of Düsseldorf, Bonn and Cologne as well as the Ruhr Area industrial complex. For many people North Rhine-Westphalia is synonymous with industrial areas and agglomerating cities. But the largest part of the state is covered with forests and fields.

I didn't get to buy a ticket for high speed trains in advance and so if I buy it now it will cost me 100euros one way (what the $#%^ again?!). I only bought a wee...

Don't forget to strip off your bedlinen and return it to the reception :D
For TravBuddy's who think these meetups are all about eating, drinking and partying: Melissa, Guido and I spend the Sundayafternoon to visit an exhibition...
