I stayed here for 5 days. There is only 1 sight seeing - Burg Hohenzollern. The castle in Germany is always worth visiting. I felt like going to the history of the family.
holding torch in hand, we went down the Mount Hohenzollern from the castle to a special restaurant...I forgot the name of the restaurant but it's truly special. We dressed in the clothes they provided and we have to use our hand to eat the stuffs there. There were interesting live band in the restaurants pla…

This is my second time here. The pictures I've posted are from both visits. This time I've made the trip with my two American friends. We set out from Bad Aibling at 4:30 in the morning. The drive was more or less uneventful if you don't count an accident happening right in front of you and a muffler or bumper landing in your lane. Good for us that I am such an excellent driver. hahahaWe got to Rust at about 9 am. We checked into our rooms at the Pension Klem and started walking to the park. …

Offenburg - some facts:The city of Offenburg (where my Mum lives and where I am spending time on weekends...) with its 59,000 inhabitants is located 25 kilometres East of Strasbourg and borders on the Rhine valley and on the Black Forest. The City is surrounded by vineyards and situated at the river Kinzig. There are so many possibilities in and around Offenburg cause there are many places to visit in the Black Forrest and so on...Historical background:According to legend, the town was fo…

While travelling on business, was able to make it to Stuttgart, Germany during the World Cup Soccer Championships. Also attended a wine festival in Stuttgart. Germany did an excellent job hosting the World Cup Games and I've never seen the German people so proud to be German! I lived near Frankfurt for two years and never saw so many German flags and cars honking when they would win a match.

Surprisingly although Andrea was hungover too, I didn't feel a thing. …

After travelling alone and having a few days travelling around with people Ive met, I have decided that its actually been easier going around by myself. When you hang out with someone else and are speaking English all the time, no one talks to you! And meeting people - local or tourist - is the most interesting part of travelling. Also, people are so much more helpful when you wander about alone. I think its the pity thing - so far I have yet to carry my own bag on a t…

I had to take a day trip to Stuttgart so I planned it and jumped a train. The home of the Porsche Factory!! Where my baby was born!I was 18 years old when I went to Auckland to see Susan Vega in concert. My brother thought it would be a good idea to spend the day "test driving" sports cars -just because it would be a blast!Naturally I ended up buying a 1968 911L. My father wasn't too impressed when I rocked up back home with it and he knew exactly which of his two sons…
