Most people encounter lancaster on trips to such areas as the hocking hills or to Ohio University; and a stop for lunch is recomended as there are a number of tasty resturants, and of course your classic chains.

Also lancaster is the home of many historical people, such as General William Sherman, who is famous for burning down Atlanta. Other famous residents are Dallas Cowboy Bobby Carpenter, and Cryptozoologist Dr.Miller.
