Lachang, located in the state of Pahang, is easily accessible via Karak Expressway. It has becomes a popular tourist attraction mainly due to the existence of Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. Every weekend, many patrons from the Capital City of Kuala Lumpur will proceed to Lachang just to visit the elephant sanctuary and neary attractions. The journey from Kuala Lumpur takes less than 2 Hours.

Besides offering elephants as part of the attractions, Lachang is also famous for it’s privately owned Deer Park. There is also an aboriginal settlement opens for visit just outside of the elephant sanctuary.

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary, located near Lanchang, takes less than than 2 hours of drive from Kuala Lumpur. There will be no other places in Malaysia for you to get intimate with elephants other than the Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary.
