Stunning View of Clew Bay Feb 14, 2009
The Lambrook House B&B is a beautiful property with panoramic views of Clew Bay. The rooms are all ensuite with nice, comfy beds and color TVs. The guest lounge is a nice place to sit and unwind while taking in the scenery. Breakfast is cooked to order and is served until 10:00pm.
Ireland's only fjord is located near to the B&B on Killary Bay and the pilgramage mountain Croagh Patrick is visible in the distance. Our host had notified us that she requests all guests to arrive by a certain time in the evening so as not to disturb others. We got lost and subsequently were about 2 1/2 hours late arriving. Regardless of this, Nicky was helpful and friendly when we arrived and assured that we had everything we needed before going to bed. Having arrived after dark we were in for a real treat when we woke up to the most amazing views of Clew Bay. This is a spectacular B&B and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the Westport area. |
