Lambeau Field is one of the best known sporting venues in the country. And home to the 4 time World Champion GREEN BAY PACKERS! Nearly all Packer fans aspire to attend a football game in this outdoor stadium.

I was lucky enough to attend a game here (a long time ago) - it was amazing! The "seats" are numbers on metal bleachers that you somehow manage to squeeze in with all of your typical winter weather gear. Tickets are pretty much only available to season ticket holders (with a 50 year wait time or something crazy) or winners of promotions. You either need to know someone with tickets or pay big bucks. I attended a game in winter - and it snowed about 8 inches overnight before the game! They were shoveling the bleachers when we arrived. The experience was fun (and really cold!), but you don't need tickets to a game to visit here.

The stadium was recently remodeled to include a nice atrium, which is free to all visitors. The Packer Hall of Fame is located in the lower level and you can purchase tickets to tour the hall of fame and stadium. The upper level also has a restaurant with Packer-themed foods (like beer and cheese curds).

We took the combo Hall of Fame and Stadium tour for the history of this local, publicly-owned team. The displays in the Hall of Fame were nice, but sometimes hard to follow the flow of the exhibits. The highlight, of course, was the 4 Super Bowl trophies and rings. It was also fun to see uniforms from days gone by - and from current players. One of the highlights for me was attempting the "Lambeau Leap". Let's just say it is harder than it looks :)

The tour takes you through the stadium. You can see the box seats and bleacher seats. And stand right at ground level by the endzone (but they won't allow you on the grass!). The tour was interesting and you learned all sorts of fun things. The field is heated for winter play. When you walk though the tunnel to the field, they play a cheer track so it sounds like the fans are welcoming you. I could see how exciting it would be to be Green Bay Packer player entering the field!

Lambeau Field is the home of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. Lambeau Field has taken its place among the truly great sporting venues in the world, or at the very least in the United States.

Helped along by the media there has been a growing sense of mystique and history surrounding Lambeau Field. There has been a growing phenomenon amongst football fans, media, and players that has elevated the status of Lambeau Field to the point where it's the kind of place most sports fans, especially football fans, want to visit in their lifetimes.

It is a truly unique gameday experience, whether it be the relatively small-town of Green Bay, parking in someone's driveway or front yard, tailgating, seeing some interesting people wandering the parking lots, and just generally soaking up the energy.

There is not a bad seat inside Lambeau Field. Sightlines are tremendous from every seat. If you go in December or January be sure to dress in layers. Bring more blankets than you think you'll need.

On-site at Lambeau Field is the Packers Hall of Fame, the Packers Pro Shop if you want some souvenirs or apparel, and the restaurant called Curly's Pub. Curly is the first name of the founder of the Packers and the stadium's namesake, Curly Lambeau.

Despite being a Bears fan, I can honestly say that I hope to see a Packers game at Lambeau Field one day!

Whether you are a sports fan or a history buff, Lambeau Field is a cool place to see. The atrium is open every day and it is free to explore.

If you prefer to take the field tour or the visit the Hall of Fame, tickets are purchased onsite.

Steeped in tradition and revered by the community, this stadium has energy like none other. Doesn't matter where you are from, you will feel like a Packer fan once you experience this place, even if just for a moment.
