After 4 months, and still settling in, we ventured into the great outdoors of our new state.  We set out late in the morning to hike the trails of Lake Waccamaw State Park.  Near the trail entrance is where the four camping areas are situated.  Reservations are reqiured to camp and they assign a site to you.  We opted not to camp because there would be other people there and that would defeat the purpose of being one with nature.We took the Lake Trail.  It's the longe…
