Flew into Nairobi, drove over to the Masai Mara and spent a couple of nights there before driving through Uganda to the border of the Congo. Crossed over and went to the Virunga National Park to see the mountain gorillas. Drove back to Nairobi, on to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti and finished up in Zanzibar.

Lake Naivasha is one to do and I prefer to do it on the way home rather than on the way out to Baringo.
There are a number of campsites along the lake and two I recommend are Fisherman's Camp, and the camp next door to it. Bicycles are available at both and it's always fun to cycle into Hell…
