Lake Havasu City Vacation Guide
Lake Havasu City is a small town in the middle of nowhere next to a lake. During spring break people swarm to the mud hole and Lake Havasu City is to Arizona what Sturgis is to South Dakota. Out of nowhere and unexplainably for a week out of the year this town is turned into party central and thousands of people from all over head there for Spring Break. The lake is not huge, not clean, and not in the most desirable climate, none the less it is a huge success and people seem to love it.
The area does play host to the London Bridge which is a popular tourist site. The temperature in the summer is plain hot, with temperatures reaching 116 degrees. For those of you sitting and thinking it is a dry heat, all I can say is go to the gym and step into a wet sauna and then a dry sauna which one steals your breath and makes you think you are going to die.

The London Bridge is a must see when travelling over to Lake Havasu. Considering all the history, this is really an amazing feat for it to be in Arizona at all.
Originally built back in 1831 to cross the Thames River in England, the bridge began to fail, crumble, and sink into the cl…

We showed off our Roadtrek to a fellow RV’er this morning. He has a 40’ motor home and was curious about our compact rig. He was impressed with the quality and features but we think he went back and said to his wife:” If you think our motor home is too small you ne…
