A beautiful Lake in peruvian Jungle Jan 30, 2016
Laguna Azul (blue lagoon) is one of the most visited places in San Martin region in the amazonian northern Peru. It is a lake quite big where you can take a nice bath since the temperature of its waters it is around 22 Celsius degrees. This is caused because a dormant volcano in its surroundings keep the water hot. If you go there the first you have to do is rent a boat to sailor around the lagoon. Usually it costs 100 soles for the whole day. After that you can take the lunch in one of the restaurants in the shores of the lagoon. Usually it costs a menu around 15 soles. From Tarapoto to go there it costs around 25 soles one trip. I definitively recommend.
