Lagoa lake is a vivid place in the Rio map, but usually visitors miss it. It has many interesting features. There's a road biking around the lake, it is a great road if you are a fan of bicycle.
The lake has a great view from every side. There are many facilities for sport activities like skating, tennis, etc around the lake. There are many good places for dining around the lake. You can reach it easily by few minutes walk if you are at Ipanema or Copacabana. |

As we go through the tunnel Riboucas, separating CENTRO from the Beaches, you come across a large lake named Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. This is a favorite spot for running, biking, walking and rowing their boats around the lake. The bike trail goes all the way around the lake.
