    My initial plan was to go to the US in September and be gone for a couple of months. However things happened that made me have to rearrange both when I could go and for how long I could be gone. It has ended up with this; I'm leaving for PHX November 4 and will be in AZ for 5 days. Then I'm heading to Cali on November 9 and will most likely be there till November 29 and then head home. So instead of 2 months traveling around the states and Mexico, I've cut it down to one ...

I decided to take the ferry to Greenwich so that I could see the Thames barrier up close. While in Greenwich I took a ride on their mini Ferris wheel and walked under the Thames via the tunnel.

Since we'd worn the tread off our feet the previous day, we decided to do the obligatory tourist thing and take a motorized tour of the city. Our concierge at the hotel was very helpful and set us up with "The I Love Seoul Tour Company."  At $38 a pop we were looking forward to an interesting day of history and sightseeing.
