Cape Town has better hotels... Mar 25, 2008
Yes, it has a pool, a small one though. Yes, it has rooms, small ones though. The toilet is a challenge, the bed had made too many lay-days. Sorry, I cannot recommend this hotel situated in the Capetowns suburb Gardens. The location is not really near the city center, but the area is okay. If you are lucky, you can have a view on Table Mountain - of course if the weather cooperates.
Positive thing is the restaurant. You can have a decent dinner here. On one side of the restaurant is a small lounge and a dito bar. THe bar serves all sorts of drinks. If you stay long enough at the bar, everything is going to look bigger. Good barman. The staff at the reception seemed a bit uninterested when I complained about the hotel room. Still, next day I got, a slightly better, one.
