La Vita e Bella

We found this place on our last night and wish we had found it the first! We ended up here by accident when we were waiting for the bus to take us to town. Since it was pretty much the first week of open season, the bar was pretty vacant so we sat down for a quick glass of wine. Three glasses each and a new friend later we were headed to town with personal reservations, complements of the owner Stelios. He is a fabulous host and runs a great restaurant. We had some INCREDIBLE little feta pizzas (one of the best things I ate on the trip) on the house while we waited and enjoyed great convo. He was born in Mykonos but lived and was educated in the Chicago area, just moving back to open his dream resto. Job well done. It is literally on the beach and absolutely gorgeous. From the sample we received and the menu we read, it is outstanding - and the house wine is to DIE for. A must visit!!
