La Vila Bar Alzira Reviews
A fabulous evening - almost for free - compared to what we got Apr 03, 2015
We had been watching the Easter possession for about an hour when we looked at each other and said that it was time to get something to eat. We went into the nearest place which was located on the corner from where we had been standing, The La Vila Bar was a typical Spanish countryside bar with loads of light from the shining lamps and with a really load noise level from all the people there having a good time.
We found a table in the corner near the window turning away from the possession but we were still able to watch as it kept on walking by some hours. The waitress was very sweet and she tried with her best English to help us. We managed to understand that if we took todays menu we could get 5 different tapas (10 euro) so we went for that. During the long evening we spent there we ordered a couple more based on what we saw she served the neighboring tables.
The food was awesome and the atmosphere even better. The restaurant was filled with families all having a family member participating in the possession and there were a lot of happiness in the restaurant. We ended up with some cake spotted again on a neighboring table and some 1866 brandy, which tasted amazing. The end was a couple of coffees and we left full and a bit drunk but very happy. The whole evening had only cost us 41,30 euro and it had been a fabulous evening.
