La Teraza Papita Rizo
La Teraza Papita Rizo Reviews
Great Cuban food. Oct 16, 2008Our guesthouse recommended this restaurant. They told us it was a paladare (home eatery limited to 12 seats) but it looked very professional and churned out some delicious meals: Minced lamb: Bursting with the flavours of various herbs and spices. Favourite amongst the dishes sampled. Quite salty so best eaten with rice. Roast leg of lamb: Thin slices of lamb with gravy. Again beautiful flavour and best eaten with rice. Pork with ham and cheese: Slices of pork with ham and cheese, battered and deep fried. Delicious but a heart attack waiting to happen. Chicken meuniere: Described as chicken with herb and butter but it was deep-fried. So, while it was delicious it did feel cheap and sickly.
