“Welcoming place with great food” Mar 31, 2015
We arrived quite late at the hotel after some challenges finding it, so we were a bit worried that we could not find a place to eat. The village of Lorgues was pretty small and we had not come across many places were we could eat driving around there. Luckily our landlord could recommend us a place and she called and reserved a table for us straight away.

La Table de Pol turned out to be a cosy restaurant located on the main city square.

We found a place outdoor even though it had been quite windy but they had provided the outdoor area with a windbreaker and heating so it was a really nice little place with cozy outdoor seating. The food was French with loads of potential and quite stimulating for the tastebuds. It had also a really friendly and service minded staff, who explained everything around the dished and also about the wine. We had a nice bottle of Thuerry RG together with Fois Gras that we shared, as main courses we had St. Pierre Moelle and a Burger de Pol.

The place was a bit pricy but the taste was also in the high end.
