Nice spot at the complex - La Sirena Apr 01, 2009
Located in the only one shopping complex in Mancora, which could be considered touristy, but it's nice.

La Sirena restaurant incorporates exotic combinations of Peruvian dishes with Japanese and European cuisine to offer something special. We tried here the tiradito and the house salad. The salad was really tasty, liked the pieces of mango. The tiradito was just ok. Lime & chili was missing, maybe they wanted to make it more approachable to tourists...

The prices are not as cheap as other places in town. Maybe because they are part of the complex, but also because they offer something different. The menu is not wide, but their dishes are definitely interesting and uncommon.

I like the atmosphere here: and outdoor/patio dining with nice view. Take note that they just sell food. If you want to buy beverages alcoholic or non alcoholic, you should do that in the bar next door.

If you are around and want to try a fusion of Peruvian cuisine with some special touches, give it a try.

romantic dinner Sep 15, 2009
we loved this place for dinner. very romantic. good food, good wine, and a great atmosphere. We both got tuna and loved it. it didn't even really seem like it was fish. very unique presentation.
