La Sauvagine
La Sauvagine Reviews

I have a total penchant for tourist food-- you know, regional food that no one really eats on a daily basis but that I can't get back home. So, a French game (the kind you shoot, not the kind you play) restaurant in Old Montreal really fit the bill. I got the "Wild Game Plate", which came with one tiny deer steak, a tiny carribou steak, a tiny bison steak, potatos, and veggies. Deeee-lish!
La Sauvagine also had a variety of duck on the menu, cozy outdoor seating in a cobblestone alley and friendly servers. Part of the Getting Away, North America Style! travel blog |
