La Sardineria Valencia Reviews
Good tapas near the cathedral Nov 10, 2008
La Sardineria as its name says, it is a small restaurant where you can eat "sardina" (sardine) almost all the ways you can imagine. They have "sardina al tomate" (with tomato sauce), "a la plancha" (grill), "a la brasa" (charcoal), but they have also others good "tapas" as "bravas" (spicy potatoes), "calamares a la romana" (fried calamari), "choricito" (sausages), "ensaladilla" (russian salada)... and a long etc.
Working days they have Menu, with 1 first course, a Main course, dessert and drink, all for 7,90 €.
They have paella as well but I haven't tasted yet so I can't tell you about it.
The location is excellent, next to the cathedral where you can have a sit and see the people walking while the bells of the Micalet (the tower of the cathedral) rangs. They have a terrace as well, very nice on summer days.
