La Quinta Inn & Suites - Blue Springs

Stayed here one night while in the Kansas City area. For a pet friendly hotel, my room was fresh smelling and clean. I did find a ball of hair on the bathroom floor (pet or human?) but other than that, the room was clean. I've stayed in a pet friendly hotel once before and it smelled like a wet dog in the room and this was NOT the case here! Room was a nice size and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were down filled, so if you have feather allergy's, bring your own pillow. I didn't asked if they had non-down filled pillows since I had my own with me. Bathroom was small, but served it purpose. Room also had a 32-inch flat panel TV w/ cable channels, a small refrigerator, micro wave and coffee maker. Hotel staff I talked to were friendly and helpful, and they even checked us in early even though we did arrive a couple hours before check-in time. Amenities include free WiFi, computer center with printer, free breakfast, free parking, guest laundry facilities, outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

This hotel is just off highway I-70 just a few miles East of Kansas City. There is nothing within walking distance of this hotel, but it's close to Kansas City and a nice place to stay...with or with out a pet.
