dissappointed - overcharged Jan 20, 2009
I booked via expedia, and provided a credit card to hold the reservation. Upon my arrival, the staff notified me that the "agency" they work with would charge me and that they had "no control" over this. I ended up staying 5 nights instead of 6 and notified them 10 days in advance of the change. The "agency" that La Posada works with overcharged me the one night and refused to correct this. The hotel refused to provide me any receipt, and subsequently my credit card cannot help me either. I have seen others complain of this very thing on tripadvisor.com . I am reporting it on any site I can since I am so upset. DO not give them your card, they will charge what they want!
