Warszawska La Playa Jul 13, 2016
La Playa is a music bar & club in Warsaw. It is situated at the Praga side of the Vistula River, on the river bank between Gdanski Bridge and Slasko-Dabrowski Bridge. It borders with a zoo and appears to be located in the middle of nowhere. If you do not have a car it takes some time to reach it, especially by night as there are no tram/bus/metro stops nearby. It is open all day long from May to September. It was supposed to be a high end local but I don’t think it is even close to that. But it is extremely overpriced as it would be. Beer costs more than anywhere else in the city. They serve it in plastic mugs like on rural festivals.

The club looks like a beach bar with latine rythms, and as an exotic venue it has exotic cocktails and the list is extensive. They serve food here aswell. It is served from a track behind the bar. Of course the food is very expensive and not worth the price. You can play volleyball, frisbee, badminton, get a suntan, dance to the music or get some shape during zumba lessons. They organize here salsa courses, different events and evening discos with dj's. There are sun beds and many chairs to sit on and enjoy the summer. And there is a beach. One shore of Vistula in Warsaw was left wild that’s why there are many natural beaches here. The beach near La Playa provides the best views. At night and during the day, the view across the river onto the Old Town, the Royal Castle and Vistula’s boulevards is so beautiful.
