Serving and also selling fish at La Pescaderia Sep 27, 2009
One of the best chefs in Lima decided to open a fish and seafood restaurant in Callao, what could be closer to the harbor than La Perla? For such a long time, Callao wasn't considered attractive to open a restaurant, but this is changing.

Here he doesn't just serve food, but also sell very high quality fish and seafood.

Ok, again I didn't want to drive there and waited that they came to me... thank you, Food Festival! The area is not bad at all, it's just not so close...

The chef serves different dishes with fish and seafood, some traditional and other are a fusion. At the food festival I tried the grilled baby octopus, which was very good. Not chewy and with a nice texture. The spices were used perfect, so they weren't overwhelming. As side just baked potato and a piece of corn. Yummy!

Ok, now I have to visit the location or maybe wait a bit longer since he's opening a 2nd location in bohemian Barranco, yay!

If you want to visit Callao and think about having lunch there, this is a very good choice. You won't regret it. It's not cheap, considering the area you might expect low prices, but they are same as fancier areas in the city. But it's not that expensive, let's say average compared to the others in other areas. Nevermind, it's worth it. I say it's highly recommended, because it might be the best in Callao.
