Great Restaurant Savoyard Feb 09, 2012
We were looking for a place to have a traditional mountain diner. Walking around the ski resort, we were not able to take a decision on which restaurant we would visit. We've then seen "La Patate" and we've directly headed to the restaurant because we really liked the name (which means "The Spud" - familiar name for "The Potato").

We were quite interested in their all-you-can-eat raclette but we wanted something we're not really used to, so we've checked the "fondues savoyardes" (3 cheeses fondue).

When you enter the restaurant, it looks really traditional and this was already a good point. We've been seated in almost immediately (restaurant was full).

People working there are really really sympathetic, you can discuss with them, asking for advices and I recommend everybody to follow them. They recommended us a really nice white wine (and they do not try to give you the most expensive bottle!!) to drink with our fondue. Raclettes were also looking and smelling awesome. Plates are usually (not fondues) served with oven potatoes.

We really had fun during the complete evening, thanks to the waitress!

To resume it: It's a wonderful restaurant, food is really great, service is just perfect and price is a bit bellow than the average of the resort.
