This rather small restaurant is part of a strip mall and it has a nice corner location that makes you see it on the way into the mall. A very large discount supermarket is the anchor to the mall.

Opened about two years ago this place serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and even has a full service bar, which offers a happy hour each day. The prices are about average for the area.

With so many other good Mexican style places in town it has taken us a while to finally try it. We went in fairly early on a Sunday evening and there were only a few customers there. We were courteously offered a table or booth and picked our own. They handed us the menus and left us to decide while fetching our drink orders. There is a fairly lengthy five page menu, which included the breakfast and lunch menus as well as the dinner menus and even special items for senior citizens with a smaller appetite. A second small menu was on the table for appetizers and drinks, and it too was several pages, but did not show the prices.

We ordered the beef enchiladas as our dinner selection. While waiting for our dinners, which took several minutes, we were served the usual chips and salsa, which we found to be very bland. When our dinners came, they only had one enchilada on each plate instead of the two as shown in the menu and we asked to verify with our waiter who said he was sorry for the mistake and went to get us the second enchiladas. I don't know if the mistake was intentional or not, but it was rectified with a smile but no apology.

We found the meal to be rather bland and over cooked, especially the beans, so we will probably not return to this restaurant.

You would have a difficult time with all the competition here in Visalia. But thanks for the comment. :)
