If you have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show then it is very hard to describe what to expect in this show. The show is in a purpose build theatre in Downtown Disney, and although we had great seats, very central in the 2nd bank, with so much going on all over the stage any seat is worth getting. The only problem we did have was a Woman sitting just behind us who started woo-ing after all the inital acrobatics, her partner did shut her up before we got to annoyed.
The show starts before everyone is in the auditorium, with 2 "Clowns" who start by showing people to their seats and playing with them. Then the main show begins, there are acrobats, bicycle riders, trampolinists, trapeze artists, high dancers, 5 chinese children who have a hourglass type thing on a wire between 2 sticks which they throw in the air and catch on the wire, which does not sound impressive, but when you see them it is. There is no talking even during the inital clown segment. Part of the My Travels in 2005 travel blog |
