La Jolla Vacation Guide
La Jolla is a beautiful coastal community in San Diego County. It is known as an upscale, rather expensive community to live in, and is popular with tourists.
It is just a short drive from the excitement of downtown San Diego, so it is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for all the convenience of being in San Diego, but wanting to stay in a mellower location.
A few highlights are La Jolla cove, a great place to go swimming or snorkeling. Also check out Torrey Pines state reserve for some hiking with spectacular ocean views. The Village has many shops and restaurants, and the Torrey Pines Golf Course is a world class, beautiful golf course that has been featured on the PGA tour. This golf course is very expensive but worth it if you are a golf enthusiast.
