La Defense Vacation Guide
La defense located west of Paris, is one of Europe's largest Business District. Mainly composed with buildings/skycrapers like american style. L'arche de la defense (100m-330ft) is really impressive to see. mainly a business area (anyway you have a mall there) but good to visit and see this modern part close to the old lady who is Paris :)
The top affords some splendid views of the city especially towards the Arc de Triomph which is straight down the road from it leading you on to the Champs Elysee.
Behind La Defense is an amazing maze garden which should feel out of place in a big city yet this not the case, not in Paris anyway.
