Delicious Savory and Dessert Crepes in the 2nd Arrondisment Mar 26, 2008
This little creperie is just off of Rue Montorgueil (which you can't miss if you go to Paris). When I was in Paris for 6 weeks in 2005 one of my travel buddies worked at this cafe. It run solely by a father and his daughter and one friend. Thus, it is a truly personal experience going there. The father cooks every crepe to order, and they are wonderful. Because he is the sole chef service is slow and often some items on the menu aren't available. I recommend "La Supreme" - the chicken and basil crepe, and the sugared crepe with apricots and white chocolate. They have bizzare hours and may take off all of August. Anyway, it's a wonderful little quiet place for the end of an eventful day.

It's a quick walk from the Sentier metro stop. It's also just four blocks up from Les Halles. Follow Rue Monmartre or Montorgueil from Etienne Marcel. Best advice: Google map the address from where you will be staying. Definitely spend some time in the area, it's charming
