Foundation of Ancient Roman Complex Nov 06, 2015
Here is the foundations and first floors of a complex that used a viaduct to conduct water to the residence from the Trevi fountain. There are remains of the piping and exit sewer that brought water (in fact, it is still flowing). If you look carefully, you will see the toilet facilities and the steps the servants used to get fresh water. Several modern platforms have been erected so you can wander around and see all sections of the ruin. This place is located under the Trevi cinema building and is only 3 Euros to enter. There are also some pieces of pots, etc that were found on the site. This is worth seeing because it is so cheap and close to the Trevi Fountain but far enough away from the crowds.
