Sinful heaven for chocolate lovers Sep 13, 2008
I'm not an extreme chocolate lover. My guilty pleasure is salty potato chips or french fries. However, La Chocolateria should not be missed. It's tucked away in an alley next to the Church of San Gines. They serve a decent sized dish of churros (long sticks of fried dough) with a cup of warm thick chocolate for dipping. If I remember correctly, the cost for Churros con Chocolate was only about 3 Euros and some change. They also serve beverages, including hot chocolate which my friends said were delicious as well.
You have a choice to sit inside or outside on tables alongside the alley/patio areas. I sat outside and "people watched" while enjoying my sinful snack.
