Service could be a LOT better! Oct 22, 2011
We were looking for a place to eat in Providencia (a neighborhood of GDL) and this place was the first we saw. I had seen it before but never actually tried it. It was late and we all were really hungry so we decide to give it a try, as this place looked really neat and they had large tables.
Dissapointment started as they really took a very long time to even get us the menus. Many of the entrees were not available, so everybody pretty much ordered their main course. After taking our order, again they took their time to bring the plates. The food was actually quite good, or maybe it did taste that good since we were all really hungry.
Anyway, the check was also a mess, since they couldn't split iit and they couldn't even bring what everything costed, they just brought the total. We went again through the menu to sort out what were the prices of everybody's meals, and the total was more than the sume of our plates, so we assumed the rest was the tip.
Really the food wasn't bad at all, but you can have great Argentinian steaks in many other restaurants without having to suffer this kind of service.
Well, good thing that didn't prevent us from having a good time and fortunately things got so much better!!
