Traditional Bolivian Food Oct 18, 2008“Paceño” is the name of the people born in La Paz, and this restaurant “The house of the Paceños” is a manifestation of the traditional food of the city of La Paz, typical spicy food such as "Hot assortment" (Picante Surtido) that has a little more meat in spicy as being "Sajta" (chicken in spicy sauce yellow), "Saice" (chooped beef in spicy red sauce), "Aji de lengua" (cow’s tongue in spicy red sauce), "Ranga" (chopped cow’s stomach in hot sauce yellow) and "Fritanga" (spicy pork), also can be ordered in each dish individually and all are accompanied by potatoe, these dishes will be accompany with a cold beer, especially "The Paceña", beer very internationally recognized In spanish: Paceño es el gentilicio de los nacidos en La Paz, y este restaurante “La Casa de los paceños” es una muestra de la comida tradicional de la ciudad de La Paz, comida picante típica como por ejemplo el “Picante surtido” que tiene un poco de varias carnes en picante como ser “Sajta de Pollo” (pollo en salsa picante amarilla), “Saice”( carne de res picada en salsa picante roja) , “aji de lengua” (lengua de res en salsa picante roja, “Ranga” (estomago de res picado en salsa picante amarilla) y “Fritanga” (carne de cerdo picante), también se puede pedir cada plato en forma individual y todos se acompañan de papa, estos platos hay que acompañarlos de una cerveza bien fría, especialmente “La Paceña”, cerveza muy reconocida internacionalmente Part of the La Paz - Two TravBuddys visiting travel blog |

Before concluding our overview of "La Paz" we went to lunch at a restaurant called "The House of the Paceños" a place typical of “ La Paz ” to savor a “hot assortment” which is a dish with different kinds of meat all seasoned with pepper, and to drink a “Paceña” Beer
