Relaxed good time bar Aug 04, 2006
Nice location, multi level layout, a couple of bars, pool tables, and a fun crowd!

The Black Sheep bar is a great place to meet up with a large group of friends or to make a large group of new friends. It is a beer hall styled in a traditional Catalan manner. It has been around for decades close to the Rambla and Plaza Cataluya. It has huge wood tables that seat no less than ten people – most of the time many more sharing each others lap. It has exposed stone walls and large wood supports so you feel you are in a barn or old farm house.
Take turns buying each other pitchers of beer or Sangria that cost only 7.00€ or 8.00€. Jump in line at the back bar to pick up a T-shirt for your friends back home. The crowd is young but it is a beer hall so you should expect this kind of atmosphere. It is a good starting point for your night but you may find yourself there for hours once the laughter starts. -Rach Part of the Europe 2006 travel blog |
