This bar is literally an oasis for beer lovers. Somewhat of an oddity in Rome, the Bavarian-style cellar bar has 500 beers to choose from. Meanwhile, upstairs has 1,500 wines to choose from.
The hard part about it is that the menu gives the whole selection while only a fraction are kept cold. The waiters eventually led us to the cooler and allowed us to pick out our own beer. By the end of the night they just totaled up the beer bottle on our table. It was somewhat hard to find. We must have walked around the square two times before seeing the wine cellar at the street level and a tiny winding staircase that led to the beer cellar. All in all, it was quite a fun night.
