L'Eau Vive Rouen Reviews
Surprising meals Nov 03, 2009
As a starter, I had a "brique" (a kind of dish with a kind of flaky pastry) with roquefort and pear in it. My dish was with ostrich, which is quite original in France! I loved my starter a lot. I like the ostrich, but it was not my best meal ever, I think because of the sauce.
The restaurant offers surprising dishes, often mixing salty and sweet for example, or non usual food for French (shark, ostrich, kangaroo...). It was interesting to taste something different!
The area is one of my favourite in Rouen, a pedestrian area near the Church Saint Maclou in the "antique dealer area", with the canal Robec going down it.
