L'Atelier d'en Quim Jardí
L'Atelier d'en Quim Jardí Reviews
Best pizza in Mexico City Jun 07, 2009
I was a devotee of 50 Friends pizza until I finally ventured over to Quim Jardí's newish low-key Roma Norte restaurant. (For anyone who doesn't know, Jardí is the mastermind behind the city's best comida corrida at La Rauxa in Condesa.) There's no sign on the street, and word of mouth still hasn't picked up, so this amazing evening spot remains off the beaten path for now. The decor is exceptionally bad, and the service can be a little slow, but the pizza and salads I've sampled are among the best I've ever had, and cost a fraction of comparable gourmet pizzas to be had in, say, New York. I especially recommend the Arquimedes and the Don Quixote pizzas. The wine list is fairly broad, too, and with a good price range.
I really can't recommend this place highly enough. |
