Nice lunch restaurant on a sunny day Jun 17, 2008
L’Amato is a lunch and dinner restaurant situated near my workplace in Brussels, which is at Place Brouckere. You can check out where that is by looking at the following link, which is a live web cam from the square: http://www.brussels.be/artdet.cfm/5679.

I have only visited the restaurant as a lunch place and as such it is quite okay, but a bit pricy for a mid-range restaurant. The area is crawling with lunch offers, so it is possible to make better deal than at this place. I had a Salade Nicoise (12,50 euro) and my friend had a Croquette de Crevettes (10,90 euro). The food was good and so was the weather. We enjoyed the food together with a glass of white wine, which is the only way to enjoy a lunch according to my friend and colleague Benny.

The restaurant is situated at Place du Samedi, which is a small square just out of the traffic of the parallel street to Anspachlaan. The restaurant has a large outdoor service, which is nice on a summer day.
