LA Sites

1)If you like shopping and want to see the funky side of LA you must go to Melrose to shop.

2)Rodeo Drive is nice to see but it is all high end shops. It is worth a stroll.

3)The Walk of Fame is at the Chinese Theater and it is something you should see.

4)Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach are typical tourist attractions where you can see some interesting people- especially Venice- just make sure you are in Venice during the day- it is not safe there at night

5) For going out- definitely West Hollywood- Sunset Strip.

6) In LA- the city itself is not really the place to be- especially at night. It seems to be one of those cities where the city shuts down after the work crowd has gone.

7) So if you are looking fo where to stay I would say West Hollywood- try the Hilton on Sunset. If you have some more $$ to spend the Mondarin is fantastic as well as the Standard.
