Kyriad Paris Sud Porte d'Ivry Hotel Ivry-sur-Seine

A nice hotel, but not the greatest location. It’s a bit out of the way, and even the closest metro station is about a 10 minute walk, which I would not want to do at night. The hotel itself was quite nice. A bit small, and the room was tiny, but it was very clean. Our room, which was a twin share, seemed to have only one bed, until we pulled the quilt down, and realized it was actually two separate beds, just sharing one top cover. The beds were only about 2 inches apart, too. There was only one spare electrical outlet, so with two us both having to use a power converter, we had to unplug the TV to both charge our electronics. The lady working at reception in the afternoon was nasty mean, but all the other employees that we encountered were extremely nice. The breakfast that was provided to the tour was great. The dinner that was provided was alright. Overall, it was a fairly good hotel.

We were on tour so this was choice of hotel from Contiki.I was on a tour and the hotel choice was out of my hands. The rooms are clean & the hotel offers free WiFi. The main problem with the hotel is the location. It's at least 10 minutes to the metro station, which normally wouldn't be an issue for me (I like to walk), but the neighborhood was a little iffy. Also, it's right next to the highway so there's a lot of noise. I'm sad to say that I had the worst meal on my trip in the hotel restaurant. I had lamb that was so tough I thought I was going to lose a tooth! It's obvious that the main business for the hotel is large groups, because I can't imagine a regular tourist would want to stay there. As well, Room was scarey. Foul odor coming from bathroom - I think from the toilet - and I had to keep the bathroom door closed otherwise I would have gagged and wouldn't have been able to sleep. Walls paper thin and I could hear the person next door moving around. I didn't interact with front desk but others that did said they were not so friendly. Poor end and bad impression at the end of a Cosmos tour. Don't ever come to stay here. It will spoil your impression of Paris. There is no charm at this hotel or location.

Overall if your going on your own to Paris don't stay here.
