IF you find yourself in Seoul with only enough time t o see one thing, Kyoungbokgoong is it!

Located in the heart of seoul the site is extremly easy to get to. Take the subway to the Kyoungbokgoong stop and simply leave out the southern most exit. From the time you emerge from the subway station it feels as though you've been transported back in time. You can simply walk around the area or pay the money to go into the actuall palace (which I recomend) tickets are around 3,000 won and give you access to the palace as well as the folk museum.

For you photo buffs, be sure to bring along your tripod, a wide angle lens and if you are not using digital, plenty of film. This site boasts thousands of great picture oppurtunties from hundreds oof angles. I recomend coming in fall, while you can see the leaves changing or in spring to see the site in full bloom.

From the minute you enter you are greeted by men weilding large swords and era garb. As you make your way around the site you will be amazed at how this beauty can stay so fresh and true to the original state of the site. Enjoy
