Arrived in KL in the very early morning, after a fairly sleepless "sleeper" train from Singapore. Train seemed to stop every 30 mins and the locals didn't seem to care for being quiet for us poor KLers.

First trip as a backpacker.
I had great fun!! KL was nice but I loved Perhentian Islands the most...white sand beach...friendly local people...great snorkeling... oh, I miss there so much...
Cambodia was great,too... you'll have very different feelings in the day time seeing how the locals live and in the evening enjoying yourself in a nice bar...

Kuala Lumpur gets better each time we visit. It has such a great mix of shopping, eating, sights and atmosphere. We stayed right in the "Golden Triangle" area where the shopping and eating is great abundance.
