Krefeld Vacation Guide
Krefeld is one of those back-door cities that you might miss because of its large tourist-visited neighbors: Dusseldorf and Cologne. However, Krefeld is a place that should not be overlooked. Untouched by tourism, this city has much to offer: the downtown area is filled with great restaurants, shopping, and even has its own Turkish section that sell the amazing Doner kebabs (very delicious). Krefeld is tucked away between large city of Dusseldorf and the smaller towns of Essen and Munchen Gladbach. It is definitely a must-see city because of the natural beauty (Krefeld Forest) as well as the hospitality. Regarding the Krefeld night scene, clubbing is a definite option to those young people who want to meet other attractive Krefelders. If you make your way to Nordrein-Westfahlen, or Dusseldorf for that matter, definitely head over to Krefeld for a day of pure Western German culture.
