Hims near from Hama city about 50km south Aleppo north Damascus , center syria and if u wanna go to any city u almost go throw hims city and rest there . main place u can see mosque the Islamic Great leader ( Khaled bin AL Waleed ) and near from it the old market , about the city almost new buildings and market and streets u cant walk walk and walk like hama the city bigger u need taxi or microbus , I will make some photo about it .

Hello everybody :D I hope all like the photos from our trip in syria. I am happy i record the first meeting in my country and i meet with very nice and kind friend Eduardo from Spain in 5 days only we become a very close friends and more than friends he is now like a brother and i hope we meet again someday on his country or mine or any other place in earth travel together again. who will be 2nd meeting in syria? 10 days with 45 archeology enthusiasts and two nice guides (a bedouin and a syrian) riding a bus across the two countries. Fascinating places, ruins, people and nature. Good food, but a quarter of our group caught the usual gastroenteric problems. Very nice weather except a sandstorm in Palmyra. We admired the signs of ancient civilizations and Roman Empire, and we were able to experience a Turkish Bath (same as Roman Thermae...) great! highly recommened!

My blog for the vacation I had in the Middle East. For this year I planned to do something totally different (not being a western country). I ended up "picking" Syria, Lebanon and Jordan for this. In this blog I'll tell my experiences, but also try to give some tips for future travelers.

Beirut and Baalbek in Lebanon, then Damascus, Palmyra, Crac des Chevaliers and Aleppo in Syria. Across into Turkey, the underground city, Kas, Troy, Gallipoli and Istanbul. To Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria on the Oriental Express, before a brief stop in Frankfurt, Germany.

39 months, Europe, Asia the Middle East and Africa. Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, Pandas, Elephants, Bears, Komodo Dragons, Turtles, Tigers, Bulls.
