One of the mos beautiful hotels in the world Jan 18, 2009
Everything was over the top. Six stars. Marble baths. Luxurious towels and bath accessories. Concealed sliding closet doors. Electric curtains that opened to a spectacular view of Hong Kong Harbor with ferries crisscrossing across the bay, and nighttime light show of city buildings every evening. The lobby was very sophisticated too, beautiful artwork, great bar, gorgeous bellhops with 1940-style whites, gloves, round caps. Dreamy. Superb. Not to be missed in the Orient. They say the Peninsula is even better but too stuffy for regular tourists. I don't know because I did not visit it.
